Water Trotter 2025 at a Glance
Event Overview
Water Trotter 2025 was the 11th year for our biggest fundraising event! This year, we were thrilled to surpass our fundraising goal and see enthusiastic participation from the community. We had over 50 participants who took part in the event. They raced through a two-hour scavenger hunt, working to decipher 14 clues to become the first to reach every Austin landmark. The route spanned approximately 3 miles throughout downtown Austin, creating a fun yet challenging experience.

We are proud to announce that Water Trotter 2025 raised over $10,000! The chapter is grateful for the overwhelming support from our sponsors and participants! Our success here will translate to amazing outcomes for our projects helping underserved communities around the world.
History of the Event
Water Trotter was first organized in 2016 by Dhumal Aturaliye, with the aim of creating a unique event that stood out from the many 5k races in Austin. The idea was to incorporate a water theme, aligning with our organization’s focus on water-related projects.
