Dues are used to pay for chapter expenses. Chiefly, they pay for our yearly national dues for the chapter charter. While dues are not typically donations, all financial contributions must go through EWB’s donation portal to be handled properly. Therefore, dues should be paid as donations to the chapter.

1. Go to the “Donate” Tab/Button at the top
2. Fill out the donation form as below:
   1. Ensure One-Time donation is checked
   2. Enter your dues amount per your membership
      1. Students – $10/year
      2. Professionals/Other – $25/year
   3. Do not check “Dedicate my donation in honor or in memory of someone”
   4. You may optionally check “See if your employer will match your donation” and provide a company email address.
   5. IMPORTANT! – Under “Would you like to credit this donation to a specific fundraiser or team (optional)?”, find and choose “Greater Austin Chapter”
   6. Fill out your personal information
   7. You may optionally check (we preferred it checked) “I’d like to cover the processing fee so 100% of my donation goes to Engineers Without Borders USA.”
3. Select your payment method. Fill out any payment method information that is needed.
4. Click on “Donate”.
5. Wait for it to finish processing- you should see a webpage afterwards with a confirmation number to confirm your payment went through. Please save the confirmation number as proof that your dues were paid. Thank you for paying your chapter due
