Water Trotter 2024 at a Glance
Event Overview
Water Trotter 2024 marked the 10th anniversary of our biggest fundraising event! This year, we were thrilled to surpass our fundraising goal and see enthusiastic participation from the community. We had 60 participants who took part in the event. They competed in a scavenger hunt to collect 10 out of 14 clues as quickly as possible within a maximum of two hours. The route spanned approximately 3 miles throughout downtown Austin, providing both a fun and challenging experience.
Fundraising Success!
We are proud to announce that Water Trotter 2024 raised an impressive $14,700, exceeding our initial goal of $12,000. This is the highest amount we’ve ever raised in the history of Water Trotter.
History of the Event
Water Trotter was first organized in 2016 by Dhumal Aturaliye, with the aim of creating a unique event that stood out from the many 5k races in Austin. The idea was to incorporate a water theme, aligning with our organization’s focus on water-related projects.
