Water Trotter returned in 2026 for another year as our biggest fundraising event!
As always, it was absolutely thrilling to surpass the fundraising goal for this event, a milestone that was only possible because of the enthusiastic support and community spirit of people who support underserved communities through EWB Greater Austin. It was incredible to watch 45 dedicated participants take part, racing through a two-hour scavenger hunt and competing to reach every Austin landmark. Your energy made the three-mile route throughout downtown Austin a fun and challenging experience, and your generosity is what truly drives this mission forward.

This impactful tradition began in 2016 when Dhumal Aturaliye envisioned a unique event that would stand out from Austin’s many 5k races. By incorporating a water theme, the race was designed to connect your passion directly with vital, water-related projects.
